I am a PhD candidate in economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), working in econometrics with a focus on statistical inference and time-series forecasting. In both areas, my research studies variation rather than averages: heterogeneity in treatment effects across the outcome distribution, and shifts in which model forecasts best as economic conditions change.
I also hold a master’s degree in Policy Economics from UIUC and a bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering from Hefei University of Technology.
